Projects Officer

Responsible for: Support the management and execution of special ICT projects in Government
Responsibilities

Execute special ICT projects according to the standards and expectations of the PMO
Prepare and maintain all project documentation such as; initiation, delivery plans and budgets
Develop and maintain Programme Plans and reporting documentation as necessary to ensure timely communication and successful delivery of assigned projects.
Ensure projects are planned and executed in-line with the PMO approach
Risk and issue identification and management
Ensure deliverables meet required quality standards
Ensure adequate levels of documentation are produced as part of the technical solution
Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

Degree in an ICT related field (Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and Engineering)
Five years’ experience in the ICT field
Experience in implementation of ICT projects
