Job Summary
Our organization is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Driving Instructor to join our dynamic team. As a valued member of our staff, this individual will be responsible for providing exceptional instructional services that effectively prepare students for their NASA driving examinations. This role requires delivering engaging theoretical lessons in the classroom as well as conducting hands-on practical training sessions on the road.
Key Responsibilities
For Practical Instructors:
Engaging in individualized instructional driving lessons.
The primary objective of this role is to instruct individuals on safe and efficient operation of vehicles, adherence to traffic regulations, and implementation of defensive driving strategies.
Ensuring that the training vehicle is well-maintained and promptly reporting any required upkeep or repairs.
I am an instructor whose objective is to help my students meet their requirement for a National Technical Standards Authority (NASA) practical driving assessment.
As a theory instructor, you will be responsible for teaching students fundamental concepts in music theory, including harmony, melody, rhythm, form, and analysis. You should have a strong background in music theory and experience teaching at the college level. Your role involves designing and delivering lectures, assignments, and exams that engage students and help them develop their skills. Additionally, you will be expected to provide feedback on student work and participate in departmental activities such as curriculum development and committee meetings.
Providing well-organized instructional sessions in accordance with the National Training Standards Authority’s prescribed program.
Educating individuals on Road Signs, Traffic Regulations and Mechanical Basics through rigorous training processes designed for practical applications.
Evaluating pupil advancement via in-house assessments.
Facilitating the navigation of students through the NASA platform and overseeing their examination scheduling procedures.
Requirements & Qualifications
It is essential to have a legitimate NASA Driving Instructor’s License (compulsory).
A current and legitimate driver’s license that exhibits an unblemished driving history is required for this position.
Possesses an extensive background as a driving instructor at a distinguished institution.
Proficient bilingual proficiency in English and Kiswahili language communication.
An exceptional capacity for empathy and adaptability is necessary when dealing with a diverse range of pupils who possess differing rates of comprehension.
Proficiency in using basic computer systems is necessary to effectively manage student records.
