Responsibilities include coordinating with Czarnikow to facilitate the booking of anticipated shipments from multiple origins to Mombasa Port.

The role involves verifying that all necessary clearance documentation is obtained and facilitating the seamless clearance and delivery of shipments for all Czarnikow clients in Kenya and Uganda, for which AGL oversees the clearance process.

The role involves monitoring and managing the transportation of containers from the Port to designated Warehouses in Mombasa, Nairobi, and Kampala.

Responsible for accurately documenting and managing records pertaining to sugar inventory levels.

Compiling comprehensive weekly stock reports involves meticulously gathering, analyzing, and organizing inventory data to provide accurate insights into stock levels, movements, and trends. This role requires proficiency in data management software, strong attention to detail, and the ability to present findings clearly and concisely. Responsibilities include tracking inventory fluctuations, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring alignment with company stock policies and procedures.

Czarnikow must be promptly informed of any modifications to governmental policies or regulations concerning sugar importation.

Sugar consignments are dispatched to clients as scheduled, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders. The role involves coordinating logistics, verifying shipment details, and maintaining inventory records to support efficient distribution. Attention to detail is essential to ensure each delivery meets client specifications and regulatory standards, while also addressing any logistical challenges that may arise. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under deadlines are required to uphold service reliability and client satisfaction.

Maintaining accurate documentation of all established rates is essential for ensuring clarity and consistency in financial transactions. This responsibility involves systematically recording and updating rates as they are agreed upon, providing a reliable reference for future pricing and billing purposes.

Diligently overseeing sugar inventory levels to ensure adequate supply and prevent shortages.

Handle all shipping-related tasks efficiently, including order preparation, packing, and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. Maintain meticulous records of shipments, track inventory levels, and communicate proactively with customers regarding order status and potential delays. Additionally, stay updated on shipping regulations, rates, and best practices to optimize logistics and reduce costs while ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and standards.

The Czarnikow shipping desk is responsible for processing IDF applications for all received Pro forma Invoices.

Ensuring the preparation and submission of C60 (EG PSP) applications to the Treasury is a critical responsibility of this role.

Upon receiving shipment details from Czarnikow, the incumbent will diligently monitor and follow up on the shipping schedules for all consignments associated with the respective IDF, ensuring timely updates and adherence to logistical timelines.

Upon completion of inspections, the individual will liaise with certification bodies to secure Conformity Certifications in a timely manner.

The team is responsible for following up on sugar permits, applications, and approvals with the Czarnikow shipping desk.

The professional must verify that all essential shipping documents are obtained and properly completed prior to shipment.

Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance.

The team member is responsible for obtaining and verifying that all necessary clearance documentation has been submitted to AGL before proceeding with assigned tasks.

Upon receiving the necessary documents, we initiate the clearance process to ensure timely and accurate completion.

Calculates duty estimates and promptly secures required funds from Czarnikow London, ensuring transfers are executed without delay.

Ensuring the timely settlement of duties and taxes is essential. Providing daily updates to clients and CC’ing Czarnikow on clearance progress is also required.

Daily monitoring of clearance activities is conducted to verify that all obligations are met without incurring any penalties.

Warehouse operations and logistics management encompass overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring efficient movement and delivery while maintaining inventory accuracy and minimizing operational costs. This role involves coordinating logistics activities, optimizing warehouse layouts, and implementing safety protocols to safeguard personnel and assets. Additionally, it requires managing relationships with suppliers and carriers, monitoring performance metrics, and leveraging technology to streamline processes. Proficiency in inventory control systems, data analysis, and regulatory compliance is essential, along with strong organizational and leadership skills to drive productivity and continuous improvement.

Once containers are received from the Port, they must be promptly unloaded, and the empty units must be returned to the designated stack without delay.

Maintaining accurate stock records is essential for effective inventory management across all warehouse locations in Kenya and Uganda.

Ensuring timely notification to Czarnikow regarding insufficient inventory levels is essential. Additionally, the role involves overseeing the seamless distribution of sugar from warehouses upon receipt of deliveries.

We maintain transparent communication with clients regarding sugar market fluctuations while diligently reconciling stock balances to align with Czamikow’s records.

Ensure accurate and timely management of invoicing and payment processes, including generating invoices, tracking payments, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies. Maintain organized records of financial transactions and collaborate with vendors, clients, and internal teams to facilitate smooth payment operations. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in accounting software are essential for this role.

All invoices must be accurately prepared in accordance with the approved pricing structures and contractual agreements.

To ensure the timely processing of all invoices, they must be forwarded to Czarnikow’s Finance department for payment. Additionally, it is necessary to follow up on the approval of each invoice raised to facilitate prompt payment. Furthermore, payments to AGL for local and transit invoices must be made in accordance with the agreed terms.

Verifying that incoming payments are accurately reconciled with corresponding accounts.
