Serving as a pivotal member of the Human Resources team under the supervision of the Regional HR Manager for East Africa, the Talent Manager is instrumental in fostering the organization’s expansion through the recruitment, cultivation, and retention of top-tier talent.

Drive the recruitment process for senior and mission-critical positions, simultaneously cultivating robust talent pipelines and implementing high-impact attraction and selection strategies to secure top-tier candidates.

Design and create talent development programs encompassing learning initiatives, career progression pathways, competency frameworks, and digital learning solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and employee growth objectives.

Orchestrate leadership development initiatives and succession planning strategies, focusing on the identification and cultivation of high-potential talent within the organization.

Oversee the performance management cycle, guiding managers in establishing objectives, delivering constructive feedback, and providing ongoing coaching to drive employee development.

Enhance employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture by fostering an inclusive environment through Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.

Facilitate the development of competitive compensation strategies while overseeing pivotal external collaborations with universities, agencies, and training providers, and lead employer branding initiatives.

Profile

A master’s degree in human resources management is required, along with a minimum of six years of professional experience in Talent Management and Learning & Development.

Proven track record in end-to-end recruitment strategies, alongside a deep commitment to cultivating talent through structured development, personalized coaching, and long-term mentorship initiatives spanning the entire employee lifecycle.

Proven ability to effectively manage stakeholders and communicate with clarity and professionalism is essential. Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with the capacity to engage and collaborate with diverse groups, are required to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.

Demonstrates a strong proficiency in workforce planning strategies and HR analytics methodologies, enabling data-driven insights for optimizing talent management and operational efficiency.

Capable of thriving amidst a high-pressure and rapidly evolving workplace while maintaining productivity and adaptability.
