The People and Culture Intern will deliver comprehensive administrative, operational, and coordination assistance to the People and Culture Department. This position will involve supporting employee records management, recruitment processes, onboarding procedures, leave administration, internal communications, training coordination, Foundation activities, staff engagement programs, and general HR functions.
Overseeing a comprehensive range of duties and responsibilities, the incumbent will be tasked with managing, coordinating, and executing key operational functions to ensure organizational success. A primary focus will involve maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures while fostering a culture of accountability and efficiency. Additionally, the role demands a commitment to continuous improvement, requiring the identification and implementation of innovative solutions to enhance workflows and productivity. Ensure employee records, personnel files, and HR databases are consistently maintained and updated to uphold accurate and well-organized documentation.
Deliver administrative assistance for recruitment functions, encompassing the organization of interviews, correspondence with candidates, and the facilitation of onboarding and induction procedures.
Manage leave, attendance, and employee records systems with precision, maintaining timely updates and producing accurate reports.
Compose, disseminate, and oversee internal HR communications, notices, and employee correspondence to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.
Coordinate employee training initiatives by managing scheduling, logistics, attendance tracking, and record-keeping to ensure seamless execution and compliance with organizational standards.
Assist in the organization and implementation of Foundation initiatives, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, and community engagement programs.
Compile, revise, and manage HR reports, trackers, databases, and other departmental records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
Provide support in organizing employee welfare programs, staff engagement events, hospital visits, bereavement assistance, and employee recognition initiatives.
Organize and coordinate meetings, prepare comprehensive meeting materials, document detailed minutes, and deliver general administrative assistance to the Human Resources Department.
Execute a range of clerical and administrative tasks to ensure the seamless provision of HR services and the attainment of departmental goals.
Additionally, you may be tasked with other duties as assigned by the manager and/or senior leadership.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, computer science, or business administration, along with at least three years of professional experience in a related discipline. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in project management methodologies, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. A solid understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards is essential, as is the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Prior experience with data analysis tools, such as SQL or Excel, and familiarity with software development lifecycle processes are highly desirable.
A bachelor’s degree, diploma, or higher diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Public Relations, or a closely related discipline is required.
Recent graduate or student in their final year pursuing practical experience in the field of human resources.
Membership or continuous certification through HRM would be highly beneficial.
Demonstrated expertise in developing and maintaining web applications is required.
Proficient in a variety of technical and soft skills, including strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and exceptional communication expertise.
