Perform a swift evaluation of the private healthcare sector to identify and document existing as well as potential investors across the United States.
Facilitate and provide assistance for meetings with local collaborators as needed, encompassing interactions with global pharmaceutical firms, medical device producers, and healthcare facility networks.
Assist in formulating and implementing a private sector engagement strategy.
Execute additional responsibilities as directed by the Team Lead when necessary.
Required Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics is mandatory. Candidates must possess a minimum of five years of professional experience in software development or a closely related discipline. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, including but not limited to Java, Python, and C++, is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in team settings are critical. Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems like Git is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to convey complex technical concepts effectively.
A master’s degree or higher in Social Science, Business, Public Health, Health Economics, or a closely related discipline is strongly preferred.
With a minimum of twelve years of professional experience in the private sector, including roles within healthcare delivery, healthcare services, healthcare investment, or health-focused business associations—such as a local chapter of the American Chamber of Commerce (Ascham)—you bring a wealth of specialized knowledge and expertise to the role.
Built and maintained strong partnerships with leading pharmaceutical firms, medical device manufacturers, and healthcare networks spanning both local and international markets.
Proficiency in evaluating emerging investment prospects within the healthcare industry and a proven track record of fostering or facilitating public-private collaboration initiatives.
Must be available to attend in-country meetings, with a minimum commitment of one and a half days.
