The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science, engineering, or related disciplines, complemented by a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the industry. Proficiency in software development, project management, and system analysis is essential, along with strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills. Candidates should demonstrate experience with multiple programming languages, frameworks, and tools pertinent to the role. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is highly desirable. Additionally, the candidate must exhibit leadership qualities, the capacity to mentor junior team members, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
Valid possession of a Kenyan Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot License (CPL) is essential. A minimum of 1,500 hours of total flight experience is required, with at least 250 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC). Candidates must meet the medical standards prescribed by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) and hold a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate. Proficiency in English is mandatory. Additionally, applicants should demonstrate a strong understanding of aviation regulations and safety protocols.
Holds an active instrument rating and a multi-engine rating.
Requires a minimum of 3,000 hours of flight experience.
A minimum of 1,000 hours of PIC (Pilot in Command) flight experience is required.
Willingness to work from remote outstation bases located beyond Kenya is essential.
Candidates should be prepared to finance the ERA 135/145 type rating independently.
Must maintain current flight status and possess an active pilot certificate.
Jet experience is considered advantageous for this role.
