Mission Description

The Talent Manager, who reports to the Regional HR Manager for East Africa and is integral to the Human Resources team, is responsible for driving the company’s expansion through the attraction, development, and retention of exceptional talent.

Drive the recruitment process for senior and mission-critical positions, simultaneously cultivating robust talent pipelines and implementing strategic attraction and selection initiatives to ensure optimal hiring outcomes.

Craft and execute talent development strategies encompassing learning programs, career progression frameworks, competency models, and digital learning platforms.

Spearhead leadership development initiatives and succession planning efforts by proactively identifying and cultivating high-potential employees to ensure a robust pipeline of future leaders.

Oversee the performance management cycle and provide guidance to managers in establishing goals, delivering feedback, and offering coaching support.

Enhance employee engagement and retention while fostering a positive organizational culture, with a strong emphasis on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives.

Facilitate the development of competitive compensation structures while cultivating and overseeing strategic external collaborations with universities, agencies, and training providers, encompassing employer branding initiatives.

Profile

A master’s degree in human resources management is required, along with a minimum of six years of professional experience in talent management and learning & development.

Seasoned professionals with deep proficiency in recruitment, talent development, coaching, and mentoring throughout the entire talent lifecycle are encouraged to apply.

Accomplishes stakeholder engagement through exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, ensuring clear and consistent dialogue to align expectations and deliverables.

Proficient in workforce planning strategies and HR analytics, with a strong grasp of data-driven decision-making processes to optimize staffing and resource allocation.

Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving setting with agility and resilience.
