Role Description
This position is a full-time, on-site Waitress role at Jumbo Ruins Monsoon in Mombasa County, Kenya. The Waitress will greet guests, process orders, serve food and beverages, and uphold exceptional customer service standards. Daily responsibilities also involve maintaining a clean and orderly dining environment, coordinating with kitchen and bar personnel, and resolving guest inquiries or special requests.
Seeking a highly motivated professional with a minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, possessing strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, finance, or accounting, is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with industry-specific software. The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, and demonstrate a keen attention to detail. Responsibilities include conducting market research, analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making.
Skilled in delivering exceptional client support and fostering clear, professional interactions, with strong interpersonal abilities and articulate communication expertise.
Proficiency in Food & Beverage operations and Food Service procedures is essential.
A working knowledge of culinary techniques and plating aesthetics is advantageous.
Professional individuals with exceptional communication skills and a proven capacity to thrive within collaborative settings are sought.
Professional experience within the hospitality or restaurant sector is advantageous.
The position requires the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed to meet operational demands.
