Our team’s dedication to these principles drives our success and strengthens trust with our clients and partners.
We transport critical cargo across Africa—goods that save lives, sustain communities, feed populations, construct essential infrastructure, and drive economic advancement. To this end, we seek a Sales & Technical Proposal Representative whose role is to transform Africa’s most challenging logistics routes into pathways for growth and progress.
The Opportunity
A Junior Sales Professional with advanced technological proficiency is being recruited to fill the role of Technical Proposal Writer. The selected candidate will possess a proven track record in crafting meticulously detailed, high-impact proposals for clients within the Oil & Gas industry, as well as UN agencies, NGOs, and international development organizations. One to two years of relevant experience is required.
You will oversee the entire proposal development lifecycle, spanning RFP analysis through final submission, while championing our C.A.R.E Culture at every stage.
We seek candidates who embody the C.A.R.E. principles—Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence. Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to working collaboratively across teams, maintaining high accountability for their contributions, and upholding mutual respect in all interactions. Additionally, they will strive for excellence in their roles, ensuring consistent performance and continuous improvement.
As client-centric professionals, you ensure prompt responses within 15 minutes or as required, consistently prioritize client needs, and maintain swift, urgent communication.
You demonstrate a proactive approach by offering solutions rather than excuses, taking accountability for mistakes, maintaining composure in high-pressure situations, and consistently exhibiting a can-do attitude.
You proactively identify and address issues before they impact clients, focusing on eliminating underlying causes rather than merely treating visible symptoms.
You prioritize empathy by attentively listening before taking action, demonstrating a deep understanding of the distinct challenges faced by clients across Africa. With a commitment to ethical conduct and practical awareness, you approach every interaction with sensitivity and insight.
You will be responsible for executing a range of critical tasks, including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring deliverables meet established standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide regular progress updates, and address any challenges that may arise during project execution. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
Facilitate comprehensive proposal development from initial research through drafting, editing, and final submission for projects in the Oil & Gas sector, as well as for UN agencies including WFP, UNICEF, and UNDP, and international donors such as USAID, the EU, and FCDO.

Foster adherence to oil and gas and donor-established guidelines, humanitarian principles outlined in the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS) and SPHERE framework, as well as the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Collaborate with partners, consultants, and sub-grantees to prepare and manage consortium bids effectively.
Maintain a centralized proposal Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, which includes historical submissions, standardized boilerplate content, and donor intelligence.
Facilitate the enhancement of internal team capabilities in proposal writing through structured training and guidance on industry best practices.
