In close coordination with UN-Habitat’s project manager, the consultant plays a supporting role in the implementation of this project, specifically on two main activities and related tasks:
Responsibilities include:
Task 3.1: Identify desired functionality and develop design look of the ACRoS website.
Task 3.2: Domain registered and page construction
Task 3.3: Upload and develop content to populate initial website
Qualifications/special skills
At least bachelor’s degree in urban, Regional or Transport Planning, International Relations and Affairs or Sustainable Development is required Four (4) years of relevant experience in organising public events, city exchange visits and workshops in the field of low carbon services.
Demonstrated Knowledge in areas of climate change mitigation; sustainable urban mobility;
SDGs is required. Knowledge of UN policies and procedures is an advantage.
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the post advertised, excellent fluency in oral and written English is required.
Excellent analytical and communication skills. Good interpersonal skills, previous exposure to cross cultural environments is advantageous.
