New CPCU PLC was established as a State Corporation under the State Corporations Act Cap 446 and registered as a Public Limited Company in accordance with the Companies Act 2015 on November 4, 2019. Currently, the company is represented at the Cabinet level by the Cabinet Secretary for Co-operatives and MSMEs Development, who oversees sectoral policy and provides strategic guidance. Headquartered in Kenya, New CPCU maintains branches in Nairobi, Sagan, Menu, Talk, Visit, Burma, and Kittle. The company holds Rainforest Alliance Certification (certificate code: RA118102) and is authorized to process certified coffee.
