"AIC Hijab: A Century of Healing Excellence Since 1915"
AIC Hijab, known today by its current name, originated in 1915 as a modest outpatient clinic situated on the premises of the Rift Valley Academy, initially designated as Theodora Hospital. In May 2015, the hospital marked its centennial anniversary and has since evolved into a comprehensive multi-specialty healthcare facility with a bed capacity of 363, catering to patients across Kenya and neighboring African nations. Affiliated with the Africa Inland Church, Kenya, Hijab Hospital (KM) has been recently recognized as a Level 6B National Tertiary Teaching and Referral Hospital. Rooted in its mission to glorify God through compassionate healthcare delivery, exceptional training, and spiritual ministry in Christ Jesus, the hospital has undergone significant growth and transformation. With a workforce exceeding 900 employees, KM maintains a balance between Kenyan and missionary consultants, with the latter contributing to making patient fees more affordable.
