Assess, identify, and treat prevalent oral and dental conditions through comprehensive examination and management strategies.

Perform a range of dental procedures, including tooth extractions, scaling and polishing, dental fillings, and oral prophylaxis, with precision and care.

Provide patients with comprehensive instruction on proper oral hygiene practices and strategies for preventive dental care to promote long-term oral health and minimize the risk of dental issues.

Ensure precise documentation of patient records and treatment details with meticulous attention to accuracy and completeness.

Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention and control protocols throughout the dental clinic environment.

Direct intricate dental procedures to qualified oral surgeons and specialized practitioners for advanced care and expertise.

Provide assistance in the execution and enforcement of Ministry of Health (MOH) oral health policies and standards.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience, complemented by a degree in a related field. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with project management methodologies and a track record of delivering results within deadlines are highly preferred. Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring role will be considered an advantage.

A recognized institution must award either a diploma or degree in Community Oral Health.

Holding a current and valid license issued by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) is required for registration.

A minimum of three years of post-internship professional experience is required.

A valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required for this position.

Demonstrates expertise in clinical dental hygiene practices and a comprehensive understanding of oral health principles, as well as infection prevention and control protocols.

Demonstrated expertise in computer applications, with a strong emphasis on Health Management Information Systems, is required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, demonstrates strong analytical capabilities, and exhibits exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines. Familiar with data analysis tools and techniques, with a keen aptitude for problem-solving and critical thinking. Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams and adapt seamlessly to evolving business needs. Strong organizational skills, with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
