Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required; advanced degrees are a plus. Proven experience with Java, Python, and C++ is essential. Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile and DevOps is preferred. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills are necessary. Prior experience in a leadership role is advantageous. Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
A law degree, specifically an LLB, is required for this position.
Holders of a Postgraduate Diploma in Law obtained from the Kenya School of Law are eligible to apply.
With a minimum of three years of post-admission experience in a high-volume Commercial Law Firm or within the Banking Sector, candidates should demonstrate a strong background in the field.
With proven expertise in litigation management, contract review, drafting, and negotiation, candidates should bring a comprehensive skill set to this role.
Proficiency in the legal and regulatory frameworks governing the banking sector is essential.
Profound knowledge of banking operations, securities regulations, and debt recovery laws is required.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of banking regulations to ensure full compliance of the institution with applicable standards and requirements.
Proficiency in maintaining precise litigation databases, managing document management systems, and producing error-free legal contracts and reports is essential.
