Overseeing the Credit Pay collections process, this role focuses on driving timely and efficient recovery of outstanding debts. Partnerships with internal teams, client engagement, and the implementation of strategic methodologies are essential to reduce delinquencies. The Senior Credit Associate will be pivotal in sustaining financial stability by executing robust Credit Pay management and collection strategies.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties essential to the role, including analyzing data to derive actionable insights, collaborating with cross-functional teams to align on strategic initiatives, and implementing processes to enhance operational efficiency. Develop and maintain reporting frameworks to track key performance indicators, ensuring transparency and accountability across all projects. Lead stakeholder meetings to present findings, solicit feedback, and drive informed decision-making. Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation, proposing solutions that optimize workflows and reduce redundancies. Serve as a liaison between departments to facilitate seamless communication and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies while maintaining a strong focus on delivering measurable results.

Lead and oversee the comprehensive Credit Pay collections process from initiation to completion, with a focus on tracking delinquencies and deploying effective collection strategies.

The credit analysis team assesses customer creditworthiness and sets appropriate credit limits in partnership with stakeholders.

Develop and nurture client relationships to ensure transparent communication and address payment discrepancies promptly.

Analyze customer accounts to pinpoint trends and assess areas for enhancement, providing recommendations to reduce outstanding debts effectively.

Collaborate closely with sales, customer service, and other pertinent departments to manage client concerns and accelerate the resolution of disputes.

Employ negotiation and persuasion techniques to establish payment agreements and settle disputes in a cooperative manner.

Compile and deliver periodic reports to management detailing collection activities, aging analysis, and critical performance indicators.

Does this sound like you?

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline is required.

With a minimum of three years of senior or lead-level experience in credit and collections, you have a track record of success in these areas.

Proficient in credit risk evaluation, debt recovery methodologies, and the associated legal considerations.

Proven ability to communicate clearly and build strong relationships with both internal colleagues and external stakeholders.

Experienced in operating credit management software and Microsoft Office Suite with a high degree of proficiency.

Requires a strong analytical aptitude to evaluate financial data and derive well-informed, strategic decisions.
