Job Summary

Our client, an investment firm specializing in pooled member investments across real estate, marketable securities, and private equity, is searching for a seasoned and strategic Financial Controller. The chosen individual will supervise the company’s financial activities, uphold regulatory compliance, compile precise financial statements, and deliver strategic financial analyses to guide high-level board decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Compile and deliver precise financial reports and management accounts for review by the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities include directing budgeting, financial forecasting, strategic planning, and cash flow oversight to ensure fiscal stability and organizational growth.

Guarantee adherence to all applicable statutory, regulatory, and financial reporting obligations to maintain organizational integrity and meet legal standards.

Oversee the development and implementation of financial controls, risk management frameworks, and internal audit operations to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and maintain operational integrity.

Monitor investment portfolios, including real estate, marketable securities, and private equity, to evaluate performance and deliver detailed financial analysis.

Coordinate external audits while maintaining effective communication with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and facilitate smooth audit processes.

Prepare and submit tax returns and statutory deductions promptly to ensure full compliance with regulatory timelines.

Oversee the finance team’s activities to guarantee streamlined financial processes and operations.

Deliver expert financial guidance to facilitate business expansion and capital allocation decisions through strategic analysis and insightful recommendations.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a comparable discipline is required for this position.

A recognized professional certification, such as the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification or its equivalent (CPA(K)), is required for this role.

Must hold an active membership in IC PAK with a clean standing.

Requires a minimum of five to ten years of specialized experience in finance and accounting.

Highly desirable is prior experience in real estate investments, marketable securities, or private equity.

Possesses comprehensive expertise in financial reporting standards, taxation, and investment accounting.

Analytical prowess, leadership acumen, and strong communication abilities are essential.

Demonstrates strong autonomy while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and ethical integrity when managing sensitive financial data.
