The Role

Based in Kisumu, the Sales Manager will drive the company’s revenue growth through strategic initiatives and operational leadership. This executive position demands a dynamic combination of forward-thinking strategy and direct team oversight. Your role will serve as the critical link between our production strengths and the evolving demands of the market infrastructure.

Oversee a comprehensive range of critical duties encompassing project coordination, team leadership, and client engagement to ensure seamless execution and alignment with organizational objectives. Develop and implement strategic plans, monitor progress against established benchmarks, and provide actionable insights to optimize performance and productivity. Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders across departments to drive cohesive decision-making and innovation. Ensure adherence to industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards while mitigating risks and resolving operational challenges proactively. Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external partners, facilitating transparent communication and fostering trust through consistent follow-through and accountability.

Develop and implement strategic sales plans encompassing our full product range, which includes Ballast, Aggregates, Ca bros, Building Blocks, Asphalt Concrete, and Precast items.

Proactively cultivate and secure lucrative business prospects within the construction, real estate, and public infrastructure industries.

Account Management: Cultivate enduring partnerships with contractors, developers, transporters, educational institutions, and corporate clients to ensure sustained engagement and mutual growth.

Monitor regional developments, competitor pricing strategies, and customer demand patterns to sustain Stone field’s market-leading position.

Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, fostering both growth and motivation to ensure consistent achievement of revenue targets.

Prepare precise sales projections, departmental budgets, and monthly performance analyses for senior leadership review and decision-making.

Collaborate with production and logistics teams to maintain on-time deliveries and achieve complete client satisfaction throughout the supply chain process.

Requirements:

A bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.

A minimum of three to five years of experience in sales management is required, with a focus on the quarry, construction materials, cement, or manufacturing sectors.

Industry Knowledge: Possesses comprehensive expertise in Kenya’s construction and building materials sector.

Demonstrates strong leadership by effectively overseeing and inspiring a sales team to achieve outstanding results, even under demanding conditions.

Technical Skills: Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and practical experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

Exceptional proficiency in negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities is required.

Obtaining and maintaining a valid driving license is highly beneficial for this position.
