Internally oversee litigation initiated against the Bank by former employees, which entails coordinating with the internal legal team to obtain expert legal counsel, compiling essential case documents and supporting evidence, and reaching out to witnesses to validate the Bank’s legal stance.
Manages and nurtures relationships with both internal and external customers, stakeholders, and suppliers pertinent to the HR domain, including Heads of HR Departments, Survey Consultants, Trade Unions/Committees, Medical, Wellness, and Industry bodies (such as the Kenya Bankers Association and Federation of Kenya Employers), Lawyers, Functional Directors, Heads of Departments, Branch Managers, staff, and line managers.
Prepare comprehensive management documents, including reports, recommendations, opinions, briefs, presentations, and proposals, as well as meeting minutes pertinent to the assigned HR functions.
Provides administrative assistance to business and staff committees, programs, projects, or forums pertinent to the assigned HR domain, including Disciplinary and Grievance Handling Committees, Job Description Document Appeals Committees, Union/Management Meetings, staff visits, and engagement forums.

Minimum qualifications for consideration include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, computer science, or engineering, coupled with at least three years of professional experience in a related discipline. Demonstrated proficiency in project management methodologies, proficiency with industry-standard software tools, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams are also essential. A recognized university degree at the bachelor’s level is mandatory.
A recognized professional credential in Human Resources is essential, including but not limited to a Certificate, Diploma, Higher Diploma, or Postgraduate Diploma in either general or specialized HR studies.
A Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related business discipline is strongly preferred.
