Job Summary

As a Domain Consultant specializing in network security transformation, you deliver technical expertise and strategic guidance to support customers throughout their network security and zero trust initiatives. Your role is pivotal in formulating tailored technical solutions that align with a customer’s most critical business objectives. Additionally, you champion our industry-leading capabilities across on-premises, cloud, and security services, reinforcing Palo Alto Networks’ position as a trusted cybersecurity partner.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, including managing project timelines and ensuring deliverables meet established quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on objectives and drive project progress through clear communication and strategic planning. Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed. Serve as a liaison between stakeholders to facilitate smooth workflows and resolve any operational challenges. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety protocols throughout all processes. Provide leadership and mentorship to team members to foster professional growth and maintain high productivity levels.

Collaborate closely with sales teams to identify and craft tailored customer solutions aligned with your designated area of expertise.

As the designated subject-matter expert, you will engage with customers across all organizational levels, including practitioners and senior leadership.

Lead and facilitate customer demonstrations, highlighting our distinctive value proposition to effectively communicate its benefits and advantages. Provide guidance and assistance throughout these presentations to ensure clarity and engagement.

Overseeing Technical Validation initiatives for prospective customers and partners, this role ensures alignment with industry best practices to secure technical success in targeted opportunities.

Design and implement innovative solutions to enhance and streamline your customers’ security frameworks.

Document the overarching architectural framework and critical operational scenarios to guarantee the precise deployment and successful execution of Palo Alto Networks solutions.

Facilitate discussions centered on current industry trends and the latest developments within the security landscape.

We analyze and emphasize how our products align with customer needs while highlighting their unique advantages. This involves assessing customer requirements, ensuring our offerings meet those needs, and effectively communicating the distinct benefits that set our products apart from competitors.

As the primary technical liaison for Network Security, you will work closely with teams to address RFIs and RFPs, positioning Palo Alto Networks or partner-delivered services where suitable. This role is critical to ensuring the correct implementation and full realization of value from Palo Alto Networks solutions.

We evaluate and articulate competitive market offers with credibility, positioning our solution as the superior choice for stakeholders.

Seeking a candidate with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a track record of delivering measurable results and adapting to evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with compliance regulations and best practices is a must.

Your Experience

With a proven track record in pre-sales or sales engineering roles, candidates should possess hands-on experience in Zero Trust frameworks, networking solutions, network security protocols, SaaS security best practices, or SSE/SASE architectures.

Accomplished professionals must demonstrate exceptional proficiency in engaging with customers and resolving issues effectively. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal abilities and a keen aptitude for addressing challenges with innovative solutions.

Professional experience handling customer interactions, coupled with a strong aptitude for problem-solving and a proactive mindset, is essential.

Strong proficiency in Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW), network security architectures, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASE), proxy solutions, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policies is required.

Advanced proficiency in both on-premises and cloud-based network security solutions is required.
