Perform thorough examinations, establish accurate diagnoses, and implement effective management strategies for prevalent oral and dental conditions.

Perform a range of dental procedures including tooth extractions, scaling and polishing, dental fillings, and oral prophylaxis.

Provide patients with comprehensive instruction on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care techniques.

Maintain precise and up-to-date patient records and treatment documentation.

Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention and control protocols throughout the dental clinic environment.

Refer intricate dental treatments to oral surgeons and specialized practitioners.

You will be responsible for executing and upholding Ministry of Health oral health policies and standards to ensure compliance and optimal care delivery.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. A minimum of three years of professional experience in software development, preferably with expertise in full-stack development or cloud computing platforms, is required. Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, as well as experience with databases and APIs, is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are key attributes. Experience with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git is a plus.

A recognized institution must award a diploma or degree in Community Oral Health.

Holders must possess a valid registration from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).

A minimum of three years of post-internship professional experience is required.

Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), ensuring proficiency in critical emergency care techniques essential for life-saving interventions.

Exceptional clinical proficiency in dental hygiene practices, coupled with comprehensive expertise in oral health principles and stringent infection prevention and control protocols.

Demonstrates strong computer literacy, with a particular emphasis on Health Management Information Systems (HIS).
