Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Maintenance of Biomedical devices
Understands the technical documentation, operating principles and use of all biomedical equipment in the project; must be able at any time to give the condition and location of this equipment;
Creates maintenance schedules for the equipment and ensures that they are followed
Spare parts stocks and technical supplies
Store keeping
Technical Supplies
Electrical/biomedical workshop
Together with the Electrician, manages a technical workshop (bench, tools, equipment) for diagnostics and small repairs
Technical administration and Other technical works
Gives input and advice about the annual budget and budget revisions;
Supervises the implementation of outsourced technical works in other disciplines (plumbing, carpentry, welding, masonry etc.) in project premises upon request of the Logistics Manager;
Education
Diploma in Electrical/Electronics, Degree in electrical or biomedical engineering is desirable.
Experience
At least 5 years of relevant experience, previous experience with MSF or NGO’s will be an added advantage.
Languages
Fluency in English, Kiswahili
Knowledge
Computer skills (MS Office,AutoCAD,Visio)
