Oversee and execute a broad range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership to drive organizational success. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and workflows that enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline processes, and optimize resource allocation. Monitor performance metrics, analyze trends, and generate actionable insights to inform data-driven decision-making. Mentor and develop team members through coaching, feedback, and professional development initiatives to foster a high-performing culture. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, ethical guidelines, and organizational policies while maintaining a strong focus on risk management and mitigation. Serve as a key liaison between senior leadership and operational teams to align business objectives with tactical execution.

Prepare the treatment room, instruments, and materials in accordance with established procedures and protocols to facilitate efficient dental care delivery.

Prepare patients for dental procedures by extending a warm welcome, offering reassurance, assisting them into the appropriate seating position, reviewing their completed health forms, and properly draping them for treatment.

Instrument assembly duties include sterilizing instruments, transporting them to the treatment area, positioning them for the dentist’s access, and assisting by suctioning and passing instruments as required.

Implement the four-handed and four-eyes dentistry approach, where two clinicians work together in a coordinated manner while maintaining strict oversight of all procedures to ensure precision and patient safety.

Provide support to the dentist by preparing and blending dental materials as required.

Capture intraoral photos, perform pulp vitality tests, and pour, trim, and polish study casts to generate diagnostic information.

Assist with a variety of specialized dental procedures, including periodontal therapy, endodontic treatments, prosthodontics, oral surgery, implant placement, and restoration processes.

Fabricating provisional restorations, selecting appropriate shades, and performing cleaning and polishing of removable appliances are essential responsibilities.

Educate patients on maintaining optimal oral hygiene and effectively controlling plaque, while providing comprehensive postoperative instructions and details regarding prescribed medications as directed by the dentist.

Accurately record dental treatment details in patient charts using specialized dental software.

Ensure a safe and sanitary workplace by adhering to established hospital protocols, procedures, and regulatory standards.

To maintain the functionality of dental equipment, perform preventive maintenance tasks in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, diagnose and resolve malfunctions, arrange necessary repairs, manage equipment inventories, and assess new equipment and techniques for potential adoption.

Responsible for overseeing the dental supplies inventory by routinely assessing stock levels, forecasting necessary items, initiating and accelerating supply orders, and confirming the accurate delivery of all received materials.

Conserve dental resources through judicious use and allocation of necessary equipment and supplies to achieve job objectives efficiently.

Support the team’s objectives by delivering relevant outcomes as required.

Oversee the upkeep of laboratory facilities, manage dental clinical operations, and maintain accurate record-keeping systems.

Monitor the progress of dental laboratory cases being handled externally to ensure timely completion and adherence to specifications.

The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial analysis or accounting. Proficiency in advanced Excel and financial modeling is essential, as is a strong understanding of GAAP standards. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills are required, coupled with the ability to interpret complex financial data. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, outstanding communication abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with ERP systems and ERP implementation projects is highly advantageous.

A qualification equivalent to a Diploma in Community Oral Health is required.

Requires a minimum of two years of professional experience in a dental assisting role.
