Assist in gathering and compiling data for monitoring and evaluation initiatives across all thematic programs, projects, and operational departments.
Maintain the precision and reliability of data to facilitate robust monitoring and evaluation of the institution’s strategic goals.
Assist with evaluating data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of programs, projects, and operational departments.
Assist with the ongoing enhancement of the Reporting Matrix to accurately document and monitor advancements across multiple projects within the ERP system.
Assist in compiling and preparing reports derived from gathered data while monitoring the advancement and effectiveness of programs, projects, and functional departments to ensure alignment with the organization’s strategic goals.
Translate complex data insights into clear, compelling narratives that effectively communicate the outcomes and impacts of programs, projects, and functions through both quantitative and qualitative analyses.
Execute any additional duties as required from time to time.
Skills and Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
– Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, with proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C++.
– Experience with web development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
– Strong understanding of databases and SQL.
– Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
A master’s degree in fields such as Monitoring & Evaluation, Development Studies, Statistics, Economics, or a comparable discipline is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools, combined with strong analytical capabilities, is essential. Additionally, experience in crafting detailed reports is required.
Proficient in conveying information clearly and effectively through both spoken and written mediums is essential.
Capable of working autonomously while efficiently organizing and prioritizing various responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Proficiency in utilizing the ERP System for managing Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) data is considered advantageous.
