As the Sous Chef, you will serve as the key driving force behind our kitchens throughout Nairobi. WHAT YOU’LL OWN
Maintain unwavering food quality and consistency by upholding presentation and taste standards uniformly across all locations, ensuring excellence in every service provided.
Oversee expenditures and minimize waste by meticulously managing food costs, optimizing inventory rotation to ensure freshness and efficiency.
You oversee all daily kitchen functions, including scheduling prep work and staff assignments, managing supply coordination, and maintaining inventory levels.
Guide kitchen personnel through targeted training, mentorship, and professional development initiatives. Conduct consistent one-on-one and team meetings to foster a high-performance culture rooted in accountability and personal ownership of work quality.
You are responsible for maintaining strict hygiene and compliance standards, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations, and proper handling of equipment. Additionally, you must ensure the team is always prepared for emergencies.
Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by actively monitoring feedback, addressing concerns promptly, and delivering a consistently positive experience for every guest.
