Job Summary
Rivet Software & Systems LTD seeks a proactive and dependable Onsite Technician to strengthen our expanding team. The successful applicant will deliver onsite technical support, conduct system installations and maintenance, perform troubleshooting, and provide customer assistance for our software and hardware solutions.
Oversee the planning, organization, and allocation of resources to successfully deliver projects on schedule and within budget. Develop and maintain high-level project plans, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and stakeholder expectations. Serve as the primary liaison between senior management, clients, and project teams to facilitate clear communication, resolve conflicts, and drive decision-making. Monitor project progress through regular assessments, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions to mitigate deviations from established goals. Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements throughout all project phases.
Deliver comprehensive onsite technical assistance and resolve system, hardware, or software issues to restore optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
Install, deploy, configure, and troubleshoot software and hardware systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Conduct routine maintenance, updates, and patches to enhance security and functionality while adhering to established IT policies and procedures. Monitor system health, diagnose issues, and resolve technical problems promptly to minimize downtime and support business operations effectively.
Provide clients with guidance on system configuration and deliver responsive user assistance.
Efficiently diagnose and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal system performance and minimal downtime.
Perform systematic maintenance and evaluate system integrity on a regular basis to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
Provide user training on system operations as required to ensure proficient utilization of the platform.
Draft comprehensive technical reports and disseminate periodic updates to stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to established standards.
Deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining clear and professional communication with clients at all times.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role. Proficiency in at least two programming languages, such as Python, Java, or C++. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with stakeholders at all levels. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development best practices. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, or a closely related discipline is required.
A foundational knowledge of computer systems, networking principles, and software support methodologies is required.
Proficient in communication and interpersonal relations, with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Capable of executing tasks autonomously and thriving with limited oversight, ensuring efficient and reliable performance without constant direction.
Proven ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions efficiently. Demonstrated capacity to think critically under pressure and adapt to evolving challenges with a methodical approach. Experience in troubleshooting technical or operational issues to ensure seamless workflow continuity and minimize disruptions. Requires a detail-oriented mindset and the capacity to evaluate multiple solutions before selecting the optimal course of action.
Preferred experience includes roles in technical support or hands-on fieldwork.

Proven track record in utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Point of Sale (POS) systems is essential for this role. Familiarity with industry-specific ERP modules or POS functionalities will be considered a significant advantage.
