As a Laboratory Technician, your duties will encompass a range of critical responsibilities essential to supporting laboratory operations and ensuring accurate experimental outcomes. You will be tasked with conducting tests, analyzing results, and maintaining meticulous records of data while adhering to established protocols. Additionally, you will prepare and calibrate equipment, manage inventory of supplies, and assist senior staff in research or diagnostic procedures. Strong attention to detail, proficiency in laboratory techniques, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are required for this role.

In laboratory settings, scientific research and development are applied through meticulous experimentation and analysis.

Performing standard analyses with established methodologies and technologies or assisting in advancing technological initiatives alongside teams, all under guidance.

Addressing issues by leveraging specialized knowledge and adhering to established precedents ensures consistent, effective solutions.

Collaborating closely with business unit stakeholders, defining tasks, scheduling activities, and clarifying technical details are central responsibilities of this role.

Responsibilities include collaborating with direct team members and supervisors, as well as delivering presentations to internal teams regarding metrics, project updates, and research findings.

Possess a Bachelor’s degree conferred by an accredited institution of higher education.

Possesses relevant experience in engineering or technology fields. Demonstrates familiarity with industry practices and technical processes.

Experienced in laboratory environments, with a proven track record of conducting experiments, analyzing data, and maintaining precise records. Skilled in operating specialized equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and efficient workflows.

Possess a proven track record of relevant experience within the Oil and Gas sector or the Energy/Power industry.
