Position Description
We seek additional consultant support to conceptualize, develop, and execute sustainable urban initiatives. These professionals will lead or support the design of data collection tools, coordinate field activities, analyze findings, compile reports, and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in conducting evaluations, assessments, and research within these domains. Prior involvement in capacity-building efforts is highly desirable. Furthermore, we require specialists capable of serving as technical advisors on review panels, offering deep expertise and hands-on experience in the specified fields.
Must possess proficiency in key skill areas. Essential qualifications include strong analytical capabilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams. Candidates should demonstrate competency in problem-solving, strategic planning, and project management. Familiarity with industry-specific tools, software, or methodologies is highly desirable. The ideal applicant will exhibit adaptability to changing priorities and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Developing diverse studies, assessments, and evaluations that integrate multiple methodologies (e.g., performance, impact) to provide comprehensive insights.
Responsibilities include directing the implementation of a range of mixed-methods evaluations—including impact and performance assessments—as well as conducting detailed analyses to measure program effectiveness.
A strong command of statistical methods, sampling strategies, analytical tools, and data validation processes is crucial for maintaining and assessing data integrity.
Crafting and finalizing evaluation reports forms a core responsibility of this position, ensuring thorough documentation and analysis of findings.
Proven capability to execute collaborative data collection methodologies and protocols, apply systems thinking to assessment design, and guide team-based exercises in participatory data validation and analysis.
Developing and delivering comprehensive logical frameworks and transformation theories serves as a core responsibility.
Enhancing the team’s ability to assess performance and extract valuable insights is a key responsibility.
Develops and executes programs across any of the specified industries.
Skilled in securing financial resources and investment opportunities, with a proven ability to drive capital mobilization effectively.
Proven expertise in enhancing the capabilities of institutions engaged in urban infrastructure planning, design, and development is required.
Demonstrated expertise in a relevant field along with the necessary educational background and professional experience is required. Proficiency in specific tools, software, or methodologies pertinent to the role is essential. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities are necessary to succeed in this position. Prior experience in a similar role or industry is highly desirable, if not mandatory. The ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks efficiently, and meet deadlines is crucial. Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, or best practices may also be required.
A relevant Master’s Degree is required, along with a minimum of seven years of related professional experience; alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree and at least ten years of pertinent experience are acceptable.
Candidates must possess substantial, relevant experience, as well as technical proficiency, along with essential qualifications such as strong written and verbal English language abilities.
Proven expertise in spearheading, organizing, and executing extensive technical initiatives within relevant domains is required.
Skilled in designing evaluations, employing both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, and conducting thorough analyses. Demonstrates proficiency in crafting compelling proposals and reports.
Demonstrates exceptional ability in training and facilitation, with a proven track record of effectively engaging diverse audiences.
