Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties and responsibilities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational standards. Develop, implement, and monitor strategic initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, resolve complex challenges, and drive sustainable growth. Maintain meticulous attention to detail while adhering to established policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Provide leadership and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Evaluate key performance indicators to assess progress, identify areas for enhancement, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Ensure seamless communication and coordination across departments to achieve unified objectives and deliver exceptional results.

Organize and categorize supporting documentation submitted by country teams and grantees, ensuring that records are systematically structured for quick traceability and seamless retrieval during reviews and audits.

Perform initial completeness reviews of submitted supporting documents by comparing them against donor and internal compliance checklists, identifying any deficiencies or irregularities and promptly bringing them to the attention of the designated Program Finance Officer for resolution.

Maintain a current documentation status tracker organized by country, partner, and submission cycle, and take the initiative to engage with country teams to secure any missing or corrected documents within the established turnaround times.

Ensure prompt preparation and submission of supporting documentation to donors, focusing on assembling complete submission packs, adhering to specified naming and labeling protocols, and supporting the goal of achieving a 95% approved-expenditure threshold.

Collaborate with the records management team to systematically oversee the scanning, filing, and labeling of YE FFA supporting documentation, maintaining stringent standards for retrieval efficiency, archival integrity, and achieving a favorable audit rating for the Program Finance function.

Program Finance Officers receive assistance in addressing donor resubmission requirements and ensuring compliance corrections, which entails preparing and sending timely follow-up communications to country teams and submitters to accelerate the resolution of pending documentation inquiries.

Key qualifications required include a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with three to five years of professional experience in a related industry. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, as is a strong understanding of current trends and best practices. Excellent communication and organizational skills are also necessary to effectively collaborate with teams and manage multiple projects. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate a proven ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions.

Recent graduates or students in their final year of an accounting, finance, or related degree program are encouraged to apply.

Possesses foundational knowledge of financial management principles and reporting methodologies.

Effective organizational abilities, strong time management capabilities, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

Demonstrated expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required.
