Job Description

Execute alterations, repairs, and fittings for staff uniforms and guest garments, adhering to the rigorous standards of luxury hotel operations.

Ensure all hotel uniforms consistently meet high standards for quality, appearance, and proper fit.

Perform routine evaluations of uniforms to determine when repairs or replacements are necessary.

Oversee sewing operations, hem adjustments, resizing tasks, patching requirements, and garment modifications with precision and efficiency.

Maintain all tailoring equipment and workspaces in a clean, orderly, and hazard-free condition at all times.

Liaise with housekeeping, laundry, and HR departments to manage uniform inventory and ensure compliance with established requirements.

Provide guests with minor garment alterations or emergency repairs as needed.

Accurately document all uniform issuances, as well as any alterations and repairs performed.

Maintain strict confidentiality, demonstrate unwavering professionalism, and consistently deliver exceptional customer service in all interactions.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A minimum of three years of experience in network administration, cybersecurity, or a closely related area is essential. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall technologies is mandatory. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is highly desirable. Experience with SIEM tools, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection platforms is preferred. Knowledge of compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, or PCI DSS is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure are crucial. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requires a minimum of two to three years of tailoring experience, preferably within hospitality or luxury settings.

Proficient in performing alterations, garment fittings, and operating industrial sewing machinery.

Possesses a keen attention to detail and consistently delivers a polished, professional appearance in all work-related contexts.

Possesses exceptional aptitude for organization and efficient time management, ensuring tasks are prioritized and deadlines are consistently met.
