Monitor transactions, merchant activity, and ATM operations to detect suspicious or irregular behaviors, then conduct thorough investigations into flagged transactions and promptly address any identified fraud risks or scams.
Merchant & Third-Party Oversight: Responsibilities include evaluating merchant and third-party agent activities through transaction reviews, operational assessments, website evaluations, and service/product analyses to verify adherence to scheme regulations and applicable legal standards.
Oversee merchant screening and payment intelligence alerts to identify potential risks and fraudulent activities. Investigate suspicious transactions, document findings, and escalate critical issues as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies that minimize fraud, chargebacks, and operational exposures while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Ensure the precision and integrity of data recorded in acquisition systems, meticulously maintaining records and reports of suspicious activities along with investigation results.
Collaborate with internal teams and external industry bodies to gather essential information, deliver expert guidance on fraud and chargeback matters, and assist in fulfilling reporting requirements for regulatory and industry stakeholders.
Requirements
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of three years of relevant professional experience. Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with familiarity with database management systems and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required, alongside the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-driven environment. Prior experience in software development, system architecture, or data analysis is highly advantageous.
