Maintain and ensure the reliable operation of electrical power systems, including rectifiers, batteries, diesel engine generators (DEG), power distribution systems, grounding systems, and site electrical protection systems.
Oversee site electrical installations to verify adherence to electrical engineering standards and safety regulations.
Perform routine inspections and upkeep on tower and rooftop infrastructure, ensuring rust is treated, earthing integrity is verified, and structural integrity is assessed.
Perform comprehensive site evaluations, technical analyses, and feasibility evaluations to support network expansion initiatives and infrastructure enhancement projects.
Responsibilities include facilitating the execution of network upgrades, modernization initiatives, and the deployment of new technologies.
Accurately and promptly prepare maintenance reports, incident reports, acceptance documentation, and operational records.
Deliver ongoing oversight, technical assistance, mentorship, and task delegation to the reporting technician, fostering smooth field operations and adherence to established standards.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Relevant certifications may be considered in lieu of formal education. Candidates must possess at least three years of professional experience in IT support, system administration, or a comparable role. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring networks, and maintaining IT infrastructure is essential.
