Oversee assigned functional duties in alignment with organizational objectives, ensuring efficient execution of core tasks and adherence to established protocols. Serve as a liaison between departments, facilitating seamless communication and fostering a cohesive work environment.

Install, configure, commission, and maintain microwave radios, LTE/GSM equipment, and additional telecom infrastructure at tower and rooftop sites as required.

Perform Physical Acceptance Tests (PAT) and conduct comprehensive quality inspections of newly installed equipment and infrastructure to ensure compliance with established standards and specifications.

Conduct routine preventive and corrective maintenance on telecoms equipment to uphold optimal network uptime and service quality.

Execute diagnostic assessments and replace malfunctioning radio, transmission, and power equipment on tower and rooftop installations.

Perform comprehensive network optimization tasks, encompassing drive tests, signal analysis, fault diagnostics, and initiatives aimed at enhancing overall performance.

Maintain and ensure the reliable operation of electrical power systems, including rectifiers, batteries, diesel engine generators (DEG), power distribution systems, grounding systems, and site electrical protection systems.

Oversee site electrical installations to verify adherence to electrical engineering standards and safety regulations.

Perform routine inspections and upkeep on tower and rooftop infrastructure, ensuring rust is treated, earthing integrity is verified, and structural integrity is assessed.

Perform comprehensive site evaluations, technical analyses, and feasibility evaluations to support network expansion initiatives and infrastructure enhancement projects.

Responsibilities include facilitating the execution of network upgrades, modernization initiatives, and the deployment of new technologies.

Accurately and promptly prepare maintenance reports, incident reports, acceptance documentation, and operational records.

Deliver ongoing oversight, technical assistance, mentorship, and task delegation to the reporting technician, fostering smooth field operations and adherence to established standards.

Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Relevant certifications may be considered in lieu of formal education. Candidates must possess at least three years of professional experience in IT support, system administration, or a comparable role. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring networks, and maintaining IT infrastructure is essential. Strong problem-solving abilities and exceptional communication skills are critical for collaborating with cross-functional teams and end-users. Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and experience with cloud services are highly desirable.

A relevant technical qualification, such as a Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a comparable field, is required.

Seeking candidates with at least two to three years of hands-on experience in telecom field operations, radio systems, or network maintenance.

Professional background includes practical expertise in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of microwave radio systems alongside LTE and GSM equipment.

Professional vendors with accredited certifications will be highly regarded in this consideration.

A fundamental comprehension of electrical engineering principles, including AC/DC power systems, rectifiers, generators, batteries, grounding techniques, and adherence to electrical safety standards, is required.

Valid Fall Arrest Certification with a minimum of one year remaining before expiration is required.

Requires certification or specialized training in RF Awareness, HSE standards, and DISH regulations to ensure compliance and safety adherence.

Able to meet the physical and medical requirements necessary for performing duties at elevated heights and in outdoor environments.
