Position Description

We seek experienced consultants to develop and execute innovative ideas for green urban development initiatives. These professionals will lead or support the design of data collection tools, execute data gathering efforts, perform analysis, produce reports, and facilitate knowledge-sharing activities. Successful candidates must demonstrate expertise in evaluations, assessments, and research within these domains, along with the ability to build institutional capacity. Additionally, we value specialists who can serve as technical advisors to review teams, offering deep knowledge and proven proficiency in the specified fields.

Proficient in a range of essential skill areas, candidates must demonstrate expertise in key competencies to excel in this role. These include strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Additional requirements encompass proficiency in relevant software applications, the ability to work collaboratively within a team, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments are also highly valued.

Managing the implementation of a variety of mixed-methods evaluations, including impact and performance assessments, analyses, and evaluations is required.

A strong command of statistical methods, sampling procedures, analytical tools, and data validation processes is crucial for ensuring and evaluating data quality.

Developing and finalizing assessment reports constitutes a core responsibility of this role. The incumbent will be tasked with compiling comprehensive evaluations and ensuring all documentation is thoroughly reviewed and finalized in accordance with established standards and deadlines. Attention to detail and adherence to procedural guidelines will be essential to producing accurate and timely reports.

Proficient in executing collaborative data collection methodologies and protocols, employing systems thinking to assess evaluation frameworks, and facilitating participatory exercises for data validation and analysis.

Developing and delivering comprehensive instruction in logical frameworks and transformation theory, the ideal candidate will design and implement structured learning programs focused on these core concepts. Responsibilities include crafting curriculum content, facilitating engaging learning experiences, and ensuring participants gain a deep understanding of theoretical foundations and practical applications. Proficiency in conveying complex ideas clearly and effectively is essential, as is the ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning needs. A strong background in logic and theoretical frameworks, along with experience in instructional design, is highly advantageous for success in this role.

Educational qualifications typically include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field, supplemented by pertinent certifications where applicable. Prior to work experience in a similar role is highly valued, with a minimum of [X years] required to demonstrate practical application of expertise. Demonstrated success in leading, coordinating, and executing large-scale technical initiatives within relevant domains is essential.

Skilled in developing evaluation frameworks, employing both quantitative and qualitative research methods, and conducting rigorous data analysis. Demonstrates strong capabilities in crafting compelling proposals and producing detailed reports.

Excellent abilities in training and facilitation are required.
