Respond immediately to Breakdown Maintenance (BDM) system or equipment requests submitted by user departments in accordance with established policies.
Ensure all Preventive Maintenance (PPM) tasks for electrical systems and equipment are completed promptly and in accordance with established schedules to uphold operational efficiency and safety standards.
Serve as a liaison with user departments to facilitate maintenance activities and promptly escalate any arising issues to the supervisor for resolution.
Performs recurring tasks and undertakes key responsibilities on a scheduled basis to maintain operational efficiency and support organizational objectives.
Collaborate in spearheading or contributing to ad hoc initiatives, including strategic planning for the acquisition of new systems or equipment, as well as drafting comprehensive bid specifications.
Compile preventive maintenance schedules and guidelines in collaboration with the electrical supervisor.
Design and implement safety protocols and specialized training programs tailored to specific equipment, ensuring comprehensive in-service education for technicians and end-users as required.
Conduct incident investigations and analyze system and equipment performance as necessary.
Responsible for creating or evaluating emergency and safety protocols associated with the utilization and operation of electrical systems and equipment.
Requirements:
A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in power systems—or an equivalent qualification—is required.
