Role Objective
A progressive professional services firm in Nairobi is seeking a Business Development Officer to support client acquisition, relationship management, and market expansion initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in consultative selling, client retention, account management, and developing strategic partnerships.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
Identify new business opportunities and generate qualified leads.
Conduct client needs assessments and propose suitable solutions.
Support business growth through networking, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
Implement client engagement and retention initiatives.
Monitor market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
Track business development performance and prepare regular reports.
Collaborate with management to execute growth strategies and achieve revenue targets.
Participate in industry events, networking forums, and stakeholder engagement activities.
Job Specifications and Qualifications
Diploma or Certificate in Business Management, Marketing or Communication or related area from a recognized university.
At least two (2) years relevant experience
