Job Purpose Statement

This position is a technical role tasked with analyzing, designing, developing, and managing the technical support for NCAA Digital Business Middleware platforms, including all integration points with the Core Banking System, Bank Channels, Partners, and other third-party systems.

The position drives the execution of business strategy by facilitating seamless information flow across multiple Bank Systems through the RITA. It demands strong prototyping capabilities, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the capacity to collaborate effectively within an agile team to prioritize competing demands, design solutions that align with a broader roadmap, and actively support implemented technologies.

Oversee and manage key accounts by ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, fostering long-term client relationships, and driving revenue growth through strategic account planning and execution. Develop and implement tailored solutions to meet client needs, while maintaining a deep understanding of industry trends and competitive positioning. Monitor account performance to identify opportunities for expansion, risk mitigation, and service improvement, ensuring consistent delivery of value. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including sales, marketing, and operations—to optimize client satisfaction and retention. Prepare comprehensive reports on account health, progress, and strategic initiatives for senior leadership review.

The successful fulfillment of these responsibilities will strengthen the NCAA brand by ensuring the following key tasks are accomplished:

The design, development, analysis, implementation, and continuous enhancement of all Systems Integration processes account for 40% of the role’s responsibilities.

Deliver second-level assistance for escalated issues referred from the IT Operations and IT Applications Teams, accounting for 20% of responsibilities.

Ensuring strict compliance with internal policies and procedures is essential for the development and administration of NCAA Integration Platforms and Middleware repositories, in alignment with ITIL and other industry best practices, accounting for 10% of responsibilities.

Support existing service lifecycle artifacts to maintain compliance with agreed SLAs, conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy and adherence. This role involves effectively managing relationships and protocols with other technical platform owners as well as internal business stakeholders, accounting for approximately 10% of responsibilities.

Provide strategic guidance to internal stakeholders on technological enhancements that align with and drive the achievement of key business goals, accounting for 10% of responsibilities.

Job Specifications

Design, develop, and continuously enhance the Bank’s Integration Platforms, including ESB and SOA architectures, to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

Enforce organizational policies and procedures governing software application management, ensuring alignment with ITIL standards and industry best practices.

Offer seasoned expertise in resolving second-level escalations for the bank’s Integration Platforms, supporting the teams responsible for daily IT operations.

Apply your expertise in fundamental technology concepts, platforms, such as Oracle SOA and Java, to drive impactful solutions.

Guarantee that all services adhere to the established Service Level Agreements (SLAs), ensuring continuous availability and performance in alignment with agreed-upon standards.

Collaborate closely with business and product development teams to define precise functional and technical requirements, subsequently proposing strategic solutions to effectively address them.

Effectively overseeing interactions and established procedures with external partners integral to service delivery.

Offer expert technical support and direction to users and stakeholders to ensure informed decision-making and effective problem resolution.

In-house software applications are developed and maintained by our internal team. This role involves creating, updating, and optimizing software solutions to meet operational and business needs. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, designing and implementing new features, and ensuring the software’s reliability, security, and performance. Proficiency in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and development tools is required, along with strong problem-solving skills and experience in software development best practices.

Efficiently leverage source control and bug tracking systems to their fullest potential.

Ensure all assigned bank IT platforms continuously evolve in alignment with technological advancements to safeguard technology investments.

Assess, execute, and oversee the designated work packages for Integration Projects while ensuring adherence to the predetermined timeline.

Offer strategic insight to shape and sustain both the Business Continuity Plan and the Data Security Plan for the Integration Platforms, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery at all times.

As needed, facilitate comprehensive knowledge transfer sessions on integration platforms for both the IT Operations and IT Applications teams to ensure alignment and proficiency.

Conducts research and development initiatives to assess emerging technologies and their capacity to enhance the platform’s performance.

Develop comprehensive unit tests to validate the robustness, usability, and reliability of the codebase, with a specific emphasis on edge cases to ensure overall stability and performance.

Monitor and oversee service user complaints to uphold the highest possible standards of service delivery.
