The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening departmental leadership, refining operational systems, and fostering a high-performance team culture, while ensuring seamless lodge operations in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support and oversee all operational departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, and Guides.
Deliver a consistently high-quality guest experience through personal hosting and service oversight.
Mentor and guide departmental Heads, ensuring accountability, communication, and professional standards are maintained.
Assist the General Manager in streamlining operational logistics, procurement, stock control, and cost management.
Oversee daily lodge operations and staff discipline in the absence of the General Manager.
Collaborate with the General Manager on operational planning, budgeting, and reporting.
Key Qualifications
Experience in hospitality or lodge management.
Strong background in guest relations and operations management.
Proven experience leading and developing teams of 20+ staff.
Solid understanding of lodge logistics, stock control, and operational systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in safari lodges or remote hospitality environments is highly preferred.
