Our Kenya-based business is currently searching for a Parts Field Sales Advisor to enhance our team in Nairobi, where this role will report directly to the After Sales Manager.
In this position you will
Builds productive working relationships with fellow employees through clear communications.
Support Service Technicians by identifying and verifying parts requirements to ensure accurate and efficient procurement.
Builds and nurtures productive collaborations with vendors and team members to foster a cohesive and efficient working environment.
Upon arrival of special order parts, promptly communicates this information to customers to ensure timely notification and facilitate their retrieval.
The position ensures technicians receive necessary parts promptly, minimizing wait times by pre-picking parts when feasible—such as for recall repairs or scheduled maintenance appointments.
Apply merchandising strategies to showcase and sell parts and accessories effectively.
Liaises with the Service Department, Sales Department, Body Shop, and other relevant teams to guarantee the fulfillment of parts requests.
Examines and facilitates prospects for enhancing methods and processes within the Parts Department.
Leverage parts resources, including catalogues, to obtain comprehensive information regarding parts and accessories inventory.
Ensures meticulous management of parts inventory to enhance operational efficiency and prevent delays in customer deliveries.
Leverages available inventory allowances to minimize idle and obsolete stock levels effectively.
Maintains a comprehensive and organized filing system to manage documentation related to repair orders, special orders, and back orders.
Handling customer inquiries regarding parts, addressing their questions, and following up to facilitate sales.
Specialized order placement and diligent follow-up are essential duties to ensure successful sales execution.
Whenever assisting customers, actively recommend and promote additional parts to enhance their purchases.
Engaging in all promotional initiatives organized by the company is a key responsibility of this role.
About You

A bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline is required.
With a proven track record in parts sales spanning two years, you bring demonstrated expertise and a history of strong sales performance to the role.
Customer service training is considered a valuable asset.

Holding a valid driving license is a prerequisite for this role.
