Multimedia Production Consultant

Responsibility Under the supervision of the Chief of communications unit, the consultant will oversee the creation of engaging visual content promoting WUF and UN-Habitat, including events, encompassing pre-production planning, on-site production, and post-production editing to deliver high-quality videos and multimedia assets. Specific assigments
February 2025: a. Pre-Production:
Engage in the strategy sessions.
Develop visual storyboards and plan content.
Arrange logistics and studio for filming technical requirements.
Production:
Implement multi-camera setups.
Capture footage with actors and cast.
Post-Production:
Edit footage, create overview film and social media cut-downs.
Design animations and graphical elements.
March 2024: a. Pre-Production:
Engage in event strategy sessions.
Develop storyboards and content.
Arrange logistics and technical requirements.
Production:
Implement multi-camera setups.
Capture short, impactful videos with women voices .
Post-Production:
Edit footage, create overview film and social media cut-downs.
Design animations and graphical elements.

Qualifications/special skills

Degree in multimedia production, film studies, communications, visual arts, or related field. Advanced degrees or specialized certifications are advantageous is required.
5 years hands-on experience in multimedia production, with a focus on video production is required.
Proficiency in industry-standard multimedia software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and equipment is required. Experience in urban development or sustainability projects is highly desirable.
Project Management: Strong organizational skills for coordinating production timelines, managing resources, and overseeing multiple projects.
Creativity: Innovative mindset for engaging storytelling and visual communication, adapting techniques to diverse audiences.
