Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, storage areas, and corridors in accordance with hotel cleanliness standards and brand-specific requirements. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and shampooing floors, as well as cleaning curtains and upholstered furniture. Additionally, dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings to ensure a pristine and welcoming environment.

Deliver meticulous bed making and guest room presentation, focusing on impeccable attention to detail in room setup.

Perform a thorough self-assessment of each allocated room to verify that all cleaning duties have been executed to the required excellence, and address any necessary touch-ups before finalizing the room’s readiness.

Maintain guest amenities, linens, supplies, and advertising materials in bedrooms and bathrooms, ensuring they meet the specified standards for each room type.

Collect and dispose of waste from guest rooms and common areas by emptying all trash receptacles, then transporting the contents to designated waste collection points for proper removal.

Ensure all maintenance concerns, damaged items, or missing amenities are communicated without delay to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Facilitate the daily assignment and organization of rooms.

Any lost property must be reported immediately in accordance with established protocols.

Execute assigned deep cleaning assignments and specialized housekeeping projects with thoroughness and precision.

Oversee guest laundry operations in strict compliance with established hotel protocols to maintain service excellence and guest satisfaction.

Support the routine inventory management of equipment to ensure accurate stock levels.

Consistently safeguard keys and guest rooms by strictly following established security protocols at all times.

Promptly notify the Supervisor of any individuals or objects that appear suspicious or pose a potential threat.

Adhere strictly to established health, safety, and hygiene protocols, ensuring proper application of cleaning chemicals and consistent use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required. Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++, along with experience with version control systems like Git is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset are necessary. Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software development best practices is also required. Prior to work experience in software development, preferably in a team setting, is preferred.

A relevant qualification in hospitality or a closely related discipline would be advantageous.

Preferred candidates should have prior housekeeping experience within a hotel setting.

Proficiency in cleaning protocols and hygiene regulations is essential.
