Job Summary
Provide specialized knowledge in drilling fluids and cementing to facilitate safe, efficient, and budget-conscious well construction. Oversee the monitoring of fluid and cement programs, manage contractor performance, and resolve on-site challenges while ensuring adherence to HSE and regulatory requirements.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential. Candidates must demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Familiarity with agile methodologies, version control systems, and cloud platforms is highly desirable. Additionally, experience with database management and API development is preferred.
A minimum of a decade of hands-on experience in drilling fluids and cementing operations, including onshore drilling environments, is essential; candidates with prior roles as Fluids/Cementing Engineer, Field Fluids Specialist, or Technical Advisor will be given preference.
