Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of critical tasks, including strategic planning, operational management, and performance optimization to ensure organizational success. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall business objectives. Conducting thorough evaluations of organizational, departmental, and individual training requirements involves analyzing performance reviews, identifying skills gaps, gathering employee feedback, and assessing business performance metrics. This process ensures that targeted training initiatives are strategically aligned with both company objectives and individual growth aspirations.

Develop, review, and refine training materials—such as manuals, presentations, and learning programs—ensuring they remain current by integrating emerging industry trends, advances in technology, company policies, regulatory mandates, and shifting business priorities.

Employee Learning and Development: Develop and execute training programs to strengthen employees’ technical skills, leadership qualities, product expertise, and overall job performance, fostering both individual growth and organizational succession planning.

Maintain precise and current documentation of employee training activities—such as certifications, attendance records, evaluations, and developmental milestones—to facilitate compliance reporting, regulatory adherence, and strategic workforce planning.

Provides support to leadership in workforce planning initiatives, encompassing talent development, organizational restructuring, performance management, and the execution of HR strategies designed to elevate employee engagement, productivity, and overall organizational effectiveness.

Seeking a candidate with a minimum of three years of relevant work experience in a similar role, complemented by a degree in a related field. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a track record of delivering results under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with current trends and best practices in the field is advantageous.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or an equivalent discipline is required.

An MBA degree is considered beneficial.

With a minimum of four to seven years of dedicated training experience in the pharmaceutical sector, the ideal candidate will bring a wealth of industry-specific expertise to the role.

A minimum of three to five years of proven leadership experience overseeing cross-functional teams is required.

A familiarity with Kenya’s pharmaceutical landscape and regulatory framework would be advantageous.

Possesses comprehensive expertise in pharmaceuticals and the intricacies of pharmaceutical sales, ensuring mastery of both clinical and product-related domains.

Strategic thinking involves the capacity to effectively align training initiatives with broader organizational objectives, ensuring cohesive development and measurable impact across all levels of the business.
