Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with three to five years of experience in software development. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++, is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are required. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining software applications, as well as troubleshooting and debugging issues. The ideal candidate should have experience with Agile methodologies and be familiar with version control systems like Git. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning are also necessary.

Must have:

A Master of Arts (MA) degree in Sociology or Development Studies from a reputable and accredited university is required.

A recognized or accredited university must confer a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Development Studies, or a closely related discipline.

A minimum of two years of direct teaching experience is required.

Candidates must be eligible for registration or currently registered in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program or an equivalent doctoral-level qualification.

Must be registered with the pertinent Professional Body, where such registration is required.

Key duties encompass collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements, establishing and monitoring key performance indicators to evaluate progress, and ensuring adherence to established timelines and budget constraints. Additionally, this role involves conducting thorough risk assessments, implementing mitigation strategies, and documenting all project phases to maintain transparency and accountability throughout execution.

Reporting directly to the Deputy Director of Academic & Research Affairs, this role involves close collaboration to support institutional priorities in academic excellence and research advancement. The position requires a strategic mindset to contribute to policy development, program oversight, and alignment with the organization’s mission. Key responsibilities include facilitating cross-departmental initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and advising on best practices to enhance academic and research outcomes. Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership, analytical skills, and a commitment to fostering innovation within the academic and research ecosystem.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties and responsibilities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. This role demands a proactive approach to managing tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining high performance in all assigned responsibilities. Key tasks include coordinating projects, analyzing data to drive decision-making, and upholding compliance with industry regulations and company policies. Additionally, the position requires effective communication, problem-solving acumen, and the ability to prioritize workloads efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver measurable results.

Engage in the creation and evaluation of curriculum materials.

Develop a comprehensive course outline designed to facilitate the structured and thorough delivery of the syllabus.

Create engaging and comprehensive learning materials that fully align with the course curriculum to ensure all key topics are thoroughly addressed.

Deliver undergraduate, diploma, and certificate-level courses to students, ensuring comprehensive instruction and academic development.

Administer and invigilate examinations to assess students’ comprehension of course material, subsequently providing detailed progress reports to the Department.

Oversee student projects and participate in defense meetings to facilitate their successful completion of academic requirements.

Conduct comprehensive research initiatives, develop scholarly publications, and engage in conference participation to share and advance the knowledge derived from these efforts.

Secure external funding sources to bolster the University’s research initiatives and advance academic pursuits through financial support.

Conduct and oversee field studies while evaluating students’ performance throughout their attachments, trips, and internships to ensure comprehensive learning outcomes.

Attend and actively contribute to official University meetings and functions to represent your department or area effectively.

Monitor attendance records to verify that students have fulfilled the prerequisite of attending at least 80% of lectures prior to their examination eligibility.

Perform a variety of administrative duties and other assigned tasks as required.
