Your duties will encompass analyzing data to identify trends, developing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives. Duties also include overseeing project timelines, ensuring adherence to compliance standards, and providing regular performance reports to senior management. Drive and oversee sales initiatives throughout the East Africa region, focusing particularly on Tanzania and the MI and NI product portfolios.

Acquire comprehensive insights into customer strategies, market dynamics, and digital infrastructure priorities across East Africa.

Proactively cultivate and transform prospects into business engagements by tailoring Nokia’s suite of solutions to address specific customer challenges in both operational and technological domains.

Define and implement tailored account strategies aimed at driving revenue growth while expanding market presence.

Develop and nurture enduring, trust-centered partnerships with key stakeholders at senior levels, spanning technical, operational, and commercial domains.

Own and oversee the sales pipeline, maintaining precision and consistency in CRM systems.

Facilitate intricate, cross-functional sales processes, overseeing opportunities from initial discovery through to final agreement and contract execution.

Collaborate with international and cross-regional teams to devise strategic sales initiatives and craft high-impact proposals that secure market success.

Coordinate pre-sales activities, develop tailored solutions, and cultivate partner ecosystems to create distinctive, value-driven offerings.

Collaborate effectively with delivery and operations teams to maintain alignment on execution strategies, risk management, and customer satisfaction metrics.

You bring a wealth of relevant skills and experience to the role, having demonstrated proficiency in key areas aligned with the position’s requirements. Your background includes hands-on experience in tasks directly related to the job’s core responsibilities, ensuring you can contribute effectively from day one. Additionally, you possess the specialized knowledge and technical abilities necessary to excel in this position, backed by a proven track record of success in similar roles.

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Business, or a closely related discipline is required for this role.

With a minimum of ten years of dedicated experience in account management and solution sales, specifically within the telecommunications and/or information technology sectors, you bring a wealth of expertise to this role.

Proficient in Mobile Networks, Digital Infrastructure, and automation, with a deep understanding of their applications and interdependencies.

Proficiency in mobile and fixed network environments, with a particular emphasis on emerging markets, is essential.

Achieved a consistent history of surpassing or meeting predetermined sales objectives.

Proficiency in selling software and services within the telecommunications or IT sector is strongly preferred.

Seasoned professionals with a track record of overseeing partners and ecosystems within extensive transformation initiatives will be strongly considered.

Experienced professionals should demonstrate strong command of CRM platforms such as Salesforce, along with comprehensive expertise in the Microsoft Office suite.

Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required, with proficiency in additional regional languages considered a valuable asset.

A professional must demonstrate exceptional integrity, accountability, and unwavering commitment to maintaining high ethical standards in all responsibilities.
