Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, storage areas, and corridors in accordance with hotel cleanliness standards and brand-specific expectations. Responsibilities include sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, cleaning curtains and upholstered furniture, as well as dusting and polishing all furniture, fixtures, and fittings.

Deliver meticulous attention to room setup and uphold impeccable bed making standards to ensure each guest room is presented flawlessly.

Perform a thorough inspection of each assigned room to verify that all cleaning duties have been executed to the highest standards, address any necessary touch-ups, and then officially designate the room as ready for occupancy.

Guarantee that guest amenities, linens, supplies, and promotional materials within bedrooms and bathrooms meet the specified requirements for each room type.

Collect and dispose of waste materials from guest rooms and communal spaces, emptying receptacles and transporting collected refuse to designated disposal sites for removal.

Ensure that any maintenance issues, damaged items, or missing amenities are promptly reported to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Facilitate the daily assignment and distribution of guest rooms to ensure optimal occupancy and guest satisfaction.

All lost property must be reported in accordance with the established procedure without delay.

Conduct thorough deep cleaning assignments and execute specialized housekeeping projects as directed.

Ensure that guest laundry is processed in strict adherence to the established Hotel policies and procedures.

Support regular inventory management for equipment to ensure accurate stock levels and availability.

Vigilantly safeguard keys and guest rooms at all times by strictly following established security protocols.

Notify the Supervisor immediately of any individuals or objects that appear to be suspicious.

Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene protocols, with particular attention to the proper handling and application of cleaning chemicals as well as the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

A background in Hospitality or a closely related discipline, evidenced by a Certificate or Diploma, would be considered advantageous.

Preferred candidates will have prior housekeeping experience within a hospitality setting.

Proficient understanding of cleaning protocols and hygiene regulations.

Demonstrates exceptional precision in work and maintains a highly organized approach to tasks and projects.

Proven capability to operate autonomously while also contributing effectively within collaborative team environments.

Effective interpersonal abilities and an optimistic outlook are essential.

Available to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as needed.
