Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REBEC)
Following the enactment of the Energy Act 2019, the Rural Electrification Authority (REA) was rebranded as the Rural Electrification and Renewable Energy Corporation (REBEC). With an expanded mandate, REBEC now leads Kenya’s transition toward sustainable energy by advancing both rural electrification initiatives and renewable energy solutions.
