Provides anesthesia services for all emergency and elective surgical procedures performed in the operating room, covering both minor and major operations.
Provide support in the oversight of critically ill patients on the ward as needed, including those requiring prompt resuscitation and endotracheal intubation.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience is required. A minimum of three years of professional experience in a similar role is necessary. Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently are critical. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are also required. Knowledge of current industry trends and best practices is a must.
Registered Clinical Officer Anesthetists must hold a qualification from the Medical Training College (MTC) or an equivalent institution, having completed a Higher Diploma in Anesthesia.
Registration with the Kenyan Clinical Officers Council is mandatory. Applicants must hold a valid practicing license from this regulatory body to be eligible for employment. The position requires confirmation of active registration, ensuring compliance with national standards for clinical practice. Failure to provide proof of registration will result in disqualification from consideration.
Minimum of two years of professional experience gained within a fast-paced hospital environment is required.
