Position Summary
We are in search of a meticulous and proactive Field Sales Representative to spearhead product adoption and revenue expansion throughout Kenya. This position entails cultivating robust client relationships, advocating premium offerings to clinics and hospitals, and actively engaging dental professionals to enhance sales within the dental supplies sector.
Oversee a diverse range of critical duties, including strategic planning, team leadership, and operational execution, to ensure organizational objectives are met. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align processes, optimize performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Analyze data and market trends to inform decision-making and support long-term growth strategies. Mentor and develop talent within the team to foster a high-performing culture. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies while maintaining a focus on efficiency and accountability. Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and building strong professional relationships.
We proactively market and secure sales of an extensive portfolio of dental equipment, precision instruments, and consumable supplies to dental practices, hospitals, and other healthcare institutions.
We seek to uncover and cultivate new business opportunities by conducting field visits, leveraging referrals, and participating in industry events.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with dental practitioners and key decision-makers.
Deliver comprehensive product demonstrations and training sessions to empower clients with full comprehension of usage, advantages, and maintenance requirements.
Observe and document competitor actions, pricing strategies, and new developments within the dental supplies’ industry, then prepare and present detailed reports on these findings.
Partner with logistics, technical, and marketing teams to maintain punctual deliveries and deliver outstanding client service.
Achieve and surpass predetermined monthly and quarterly sales objectives consistently.
Accurately document sales activities, customer engagements, and market intelligence to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, coupled with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in the industry. Proficiency in project management, data analysis, and proficiency with software such as Microsoft Office Suite is essential. The ideal applicant will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, are required to collaborate effectively with stakeholders. Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards is a must.
A degree or diploma in Dentistry, Medical Sciences, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline is required.
A minimum of three years of demonstrated sales experience within the dental or medical supplies sector is required.
Demonstrated proficiency in dental equipment and product utilization is strongly preferred.
Skilled in delivering compelling presentations, engaging in strategic negotiations, and fostering strong interpersonal relationships.
Demonstrates strong expertise in utilizing Microsoft Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) software systems effectively.
Open to considerable travel within the designated region.
