Our esteemed client, a premier telecommunications provider, is seeking to appoint a Trade Development Representative.

Job purpose

Conducting frequent channel visits to enhance retailer awareness and improve SIM and float performance, while ensuring optimal visibility and merchandising standards at point-of-purchase locations for SOS and Trash agents.

Key Responsibilities

Effectively oversee the identification, recruitment, and strategic mapping of Agents, with a primary focus on mobile money outlets and high-traffic retail stores.

Consistently maintain call rates by visiting SOS and Agents as per the predetermined route plans, commonly referred to as beat plans.

Provide the necessary transaction tools at SSO and agent outlets, and conduct training sessions for SOS and Trash Agents on the relevant processes.

Experts will deliver anti-money laundering (AML) training to customer service representatives, focusing on compliance with AML regulations and the implementation of Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols within the SIM registration process.

Ensure adequate stock coverage and monitor sales by diligently enforcing the 1.5x stock rule for agents, while also guaranteeing that SOS maintain sufficient SIM inventory for seamless new registration and activation processes.

Developing and upholding merchandising standards is essential, ensuring that all merchandising materials are readily available at SOS and Agent outlets.
