MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES & WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Manage customer relationships and drive sales initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue growth. Oversee the customer portfolio to ensure alignment with key business metrics, including Volume, Margin, Debt, Growth, and Customer Service targets.

Maintain a comprehensive sales portfolio while analyzing growth and performance metrics. Utilize existing sales tools to foster business expansion through meticulously crafted and precise account plans for all key customers.

Market intelligence and monitoring responsibilities include maintaining an up-to-date database detailing market size, key competitors, and their respective market shares. The role requires generating and delivering regular market intelligence reports, covering critical aspects such as pricing trends, emerging customer segments, and competitor activities.

Ensure adherence to the standard offer book in alignment with the customer promise initiatives.

To safeguard the company’s market position, ensure the renewal of all critical customer contracts, thereby maintaining competitive advantage.

Oversee credit management in strict adherence to the company’s established credit policy and delegation of authority framework. Ensure timely debt collection in alignment with pre-agreed trading conditions, while conducting customer credit appraisals as scheduled.

Ensure timely delivery of all invoices and statements to customers while promptly addressing and resolving any invoice disputes that may arise.

Develop and enforce corporate policies and procedures while establishing and maintaining appropriate control mechanisms.

Perform routine equipment inspections at client locations and recommend or implement prompt corrective measures. Coordinate with Engineering teams as needed regarding tank installations, revalidation processes, and other technical specifications.

Essential:

Earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, which corresponds to NQF Level 7.
